GFA outlines plans for UK trip

The Gambia Football Association has released plans for the next week's  UK training camp for the national U-17 team ahead of the FIFA under 17 world cup due October, in Nigeria.

According to the travel itinerary sent to Observer Sports from the GFA boss, the boys will arrive in the United Kingdom on Friday September 25, and the same day tour the Chelsea Football Academy depending on their flight arrivals. They will then engaged in a light training on Saturday September 26 before playing their first test game on Sunday September 27 with USSF of the United States.

The Baby Scorpions will play against Chelsea Academy on the second day of their arrival   on Wednesday evening September 30th and on play their third game against Reading FC at the Reading FC Academy on Monday October 5th.They will also  play against the postmouth Academy on Wednesday 7th October.

The Gambia U-17 will then play against the Tottenham Hotspur Academy on Monday 10th October and play their last game  in their UK camp on Thursday October 15 against Leicester City before finally departing to The Gambia on Friday October 17th to complete their three-week  training program.
