According to Baboucarr Fatty, the Public Relations officer of the Gambia International Airlines (GIA), intending pilgrims are supposed to settle their payments latest today, Friday, adding that any payment after today will not be accepted. "The early payment will allow us at GIA to make proper planning to ensure a successful hajj journey for all pilgrims," he said.

PRO Fatty then urged all those who completed their payments to submit their passports, medical certificates, vaccination cards and four passport-size photos accordingly to the Gambia International Airlines. He further confirmed that the visa team will arrive in the country on October 24th, 2009.
