Girl,19 needs overseas treatment

Zainabou Singateh, 19 year-old girl and resident of Old Yundum is seeking for assistance for overseas treatment.

According to a medical report issued from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH), the patient, Zainabou Singateh complained of swollen left leg since three years back and she has pain in this leg, weakness, fever and also loss appetite. Sainabou Singateh and her family who walked to the Daily Observer office yesterday, revealed that Zainabou has been suffering from Elephant teases for more than five years now. She have tried to treat it both in the hospital and locally but to no avail.

Sainabou told the Daily Observer that she was a Grade 8 student but due to this sickness, she has to abandon her schooling. She then appealed to the government, NGOs, institutions, philanthropists, private sectors and individuals to kindly assist her to go for overseas treatment.
