Africa » Gambia
Friday, July 31, 2009
The Gambia National Lottery last Saturday presented two cheques amounting to the sum of D288,300 (two hundred and eighty-eight thousand, three hundred and fifty dalasis) to two lucky winners at a ceremomy held at its Westfield Branch.

The two winners, Sheikh Ndure and Abdou Rahman Jalllow, each received a sum of one hundred and seventy four thousand, three hundred dalasis. Speaking at the ceremony, Fabakary Jammeh, the marketing manager of GNL, said his company will continue to pay its customers each time a jackpot is won, adding that they always pay with a smile.  "We also have a car that is being set for a draw. And our winning has no boundary as it a matter of luck," he said.

Jammeh maintained that his company will remain steadfast in partnering with government. For his part, Dembo Fanta Bojang, the managing director of GNL thanked all their customers for patronizing GNL products. According to him they have other games in the pipeline.
