Barely a week after decorating sportsmen and women at the 2012 edition of the National Awards and Sports Banquet at the Djeliba Hotel on Friday, the Gambia National Olympic Committee Tuesday confirmed it will hold another important gathering on Saturday.

In a press release sent to Observer Sports, the Gambia National Olympic Committee said it will hold its Annual General Assembly on Saturday 26th May 2012 at the Paradise Suites Hotel. The event according to the NOC will commence at 1;30 local time prompt.

All the Presidents and Secretary Generals of all National Sports Associations affiliated to the GNOC are urged to attend and on time as the Executive Bureau will report to the National Sports Associations on theactivities of the GNOC for the year ending 2011 and adopt the 2011 financial report of the Treasurer.
