The governor for the Central River Region, Alhagie Ganyie Touray, on Wednesday, July 29, visited the Janjangbureh-Sankulay Kunda Bridge, where construction works are ongoing.  

It could be recalled that the foundation stone of the D5 million Janjangbureh Sankulay Kunda Bridge was laid by President Jammeh during his Dialogue with the People tour. Upon arrival, the CRR governor was received by the CSE construction team leader, Serign Jah, and Alieu Demba Jallow and then taken on a conducted tour.

Governor Ganyie Touray descirbed the construction of the bridge as historic. He noted that if the construction is completed, it will not only improve the lives of he people but will boost economic activities in the area.  He commended President Jammeh for the developments that have registered in his region, and called on his people to work together to avoid delays.
