The executive board of The Gambia Press Union (GPU) wishes to inform journalists and friends of the media that its request for the Media for Advocacy-Advocacy for Media Project from The Gambia Media Support Project (GAMES) has been approved on Monday, 27th February 2012.

This new project is a continuation of the Media Development Project-Professional Reporter Programme and it will further enhance the professional capacity of journalists and institutional capacity of the GPU. 

The project has a life-span of 36 months; it will commence on April 1st 2012 and be completed on March 31st 2015.
