GTTI law students on 'Moot Court Trial'Tuesday, June 16, 2009 As part of efforts to familiarise themselves with real court procedures, the law students at the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI), last Friday, held their annual 'Moot Court Trial' at the Kanifing Magistrates Court. The proceedings were presided over by Senior Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates Court. This annual event enables the law students of the technical institute to showcase their legal talents in an interactive way, after three years of study. It gives them the platform to argue on points of law, just as in real court proceedings. This year's event involved two important cases common in the society; namely 'Rape' and 'Anti-littering'.
