'Guide to productive office work' to be launched soonMonday, June 21, 2010 Dr. Seedy Drammeh, the Human Resource Administrative Manager at The Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA) has written a book entitled 'Guide to productive office work' in 2009, which is expected to be launched soon. In an interview with the Daily Observer, Dr. Drammeh, said the purpose of the book is to create awareness, as the book is designed for employers and employees, job aspirants and students as well as those with the aim of contributing to meaningful development in the country. The book, he revealed, was revised by Dr. Mamadou Tangara, the minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad through the Office of The President, and printed by Ultra Soft Printing Company Limited. He disclosed that the book contains adequate information to satisfy the most curious readers who are eager to know what office work is all about. Dr. Drammeh further stated that he was inspired by Foday Baldeh whom he said, motivated him to write and added that his book targeted Human Resource Managers. The book’s content includes,how to go about induction training, chain of command and useful interviews for job seekers among other issues. Drammeh finally solicited the assistance of the government, the private sector and NGOs to publish his book. He obtained his Doctorate Degree from Belford University in the United States of America and obtained his MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Financial Services from the University of Leicester in The United Kingdom.
