IBIZA project underway at YunaFriday, July 24, 2009 In its quest to contribute towards national development, especially in the area of education, health and agriculture, IBIZA Gambia recently embarked on a project aimed at building a health and learning centre which seeks to facilitate learning of different languages. In an interview with the Daily Observer, the chairman of IBIZA, Beatriz Oliveres, revealed that the project started earlier in February 2009, with the aim of uplifting and improving on the general quality of lives of the people of Yuna and its surrounding villages. Modou Bah, the coordinator of the foundation, applauded the Alkalo of the village, Juldeh Bah, for giving them the land to establish the project.
