In aluminium theft, Uncle Sam guard to know his fate soon

One Tijan Jawo,an Uncle Sam Security who is facing charges of stealing bundles of aluminium on Wednesday, appeared before the principal magistrate  Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay of Kanifing Magistrates court.

In his testimony, Assan Camara , Administrative Manager, Comfort Quality Service, told the court that in the month of October 2008,while the accused Tijan was posted to his Company by his Security firm, the accused told him that one of their staff by the name Kalifa had alerted him to jointly steal some items from the store of the said company. According to him, he immediately informed the Managing Director, who then later advice him to set a trap for them.

He narated that his Managing Director later called the office of the said security company, whose supervisor also became aware of the clandestine deal. He further told the court that the accused was subsequently arrested the following morning.
