Jamaican stars warm up for concerts tonight

The Rastafarian Youth Initiative Council will be holding its annual benefit concert, today Friday, August 7th in Kingston, Jamaica at the Skill Craft Center at 2 Skibo Avenue off Balmoral Avenue.

The theme for this year's event is 'Youth Inity In The City' featuring the top Jamaican reggae stars like, Sizzla, Capleton, Warrior King, Iwayne, Takura, Bobo Zarro, Contractor, and many others. Music will be provided by King Tafari Sound, and a Rastafarian Fashion Show will be held as well.

All proceeds from the event will go towards the Rastarfarian Kush Summer Camp 2009.  The M.C's for the event are Mutabaruka and Olimatta Taal, a Gambian journalist cum showbiz promoter based in the United States. The show stars at 6pm.
