Justice Emmanuel Fagbenle of the High Court in Banjul has been named as the summer vacation judge.

It was also revealed that judges at the superior courts of The Gambia will commence their summer vacation on Friday 31st July 2009. The vacation ends on Wednesday 30th September 2009.

Justice Fagbenle will be the sitting judge during the summer vacation and will hear all miscellaneous cases including bail applications during the vacation, before the next legal term will commence on Thursday 1st October 2009.
