Khadija Mbowe to release debut album tonight

The Gambian US-born female singer, Khadija Mbowe, is set to release her much anticipated debut album tonight December 16th 2011, at the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi. Recorded and produced in the Gambia, the 9-track album entitled; ‘Look Book’ was superbly crafted at various recording studious notably; Dream City Music courtesy of Jada, Hakim of Sundland Records, the Romeo Child, A9 and the Pipeline based Block Entertainment Studio.

It was exclusively mastered at the Beach Audio Studio in Canada and showcases different styles of the rising singer, rapper cum actress and all around performer just like a model’s look book. Featuring two other Gambian artists namely –Jali Madi and Da Romeo Child, this debut album is coming out in a full color 4 panel Digi Pac, printed by Diskmakers. The new masterpiece is going to be one of a kind, taking about a year to get all the recording, mixing and mastering all together. Side attractions during the night, includes a raffle draw to be set on the same night at Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi.

To enter into the raffle draw, one need to buy a ticket for the album release at D200, this includes a package of the CD album with the raffle ticket, and winners will be announce over the radio stations and the national television, GRTS precisely. Raffle prizes are as follows: D35, 000 shopping spree at SuperStars (seven (7) winners D5, 000 each), a LG 27” LCD TV, three (3) Galaxy S Phones, a day at Coco Ocean Spa & Resort (two (2) winners) each winner can bring up to two (2) guess including spa treatment, three (3) course lunch with soft beverages & access to Coco Ocean’s pool and beach, and the final prize is three (3) Victories secret gift bags with D1, 500.
