Kotu Erinjang braces up for mega show

The Kanifing Sisters Association alongside Air Marshal, a young rising artist, is organising a mega fundraising talents show slated for this Saturday June 2nd 2012 at Erinjang JC Bar. The move is not only meant to promote the country’s music, but as well forge cordial ties between the neighborhoods of Latri Kunda Erinjang and Kanifing.


The proceeds of the event, according to organisers, will be used to finance the latter sister association’s activities. Being the first of its kind, this spectacular event will no doubt promote the country’s hidden talents. He further explained that on June 8th there will be a mega performance at St Peter Lower Basic School in Lamin afternoon jam, starting at 3-8PM.


In a recent interview with What’s On, Air Marshal, one of the brains behind the initiative disclosed that much is in store during the night while calling on all to make it a date. He explained further that some of the stars expected to take centre stage include; Trouble Killa, J Mbaye and MJ, Moonlight, and Poetic X among others.


In another development, the aforementioned association along Air Marshal and Kabuka Bayou will present another talent Show featuring some of the finest Gambian stars. The move is in observance of the association’s 2nd anniversary. The date is Friday 15th June 2012 while the venue is Father Farrell Hall, West Field.
