Whats On: Kumba Gawlo warms up for Banjul concerts

The Senegalese female star-Kumba Gawlo and band are currently warming up for a three-day mega thrilling concerts in the country according to Sound City Manager Mabou Touray.

Organized by Sound City in collaboration with the Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC) the mega concert is meant to support the Ebo Town flood victims. The Senegalese female star will perform alongside "Bi Deew Bu Bess" a renowned band from Senegal. Mabou Touray therefore called on Gambians and non Gambians alike, to support the worthy course noting that this will be the first of the series of programmes lined up for  the year.

" We will be having one with Assan Njie by the end of February and by the end of March, the proceeds of which will be presented to the Vice President Aja Isatou Njie-Saidy, the chairperson of the National Disaster Relief Committee." he said. The programmes are as follows: On the 6th of February is at Brikama Jokor, 7th, at the Paradise Suites Hotel and on the 8th, at Dreampark in Kololi.
