One Angela Mattia, on Tuesday, appeared before Magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates Court, charged with two counts of criminal trespass and assault.

According to the particulars of offence, on the 26 of August, 2009 at Tallinding, the accused unlawfully entered the compound of one Aminata Kanu, and proceeded to slap her all over her face and body.

She refuted the charges and was granted bail in the sum of D5,000 or one Gambian surety. The case was adjourned to the 9th of September 2009.  Corporal 758 Sarr stood in for the IGP.
