Lida Nursery School receives donation

Lida Foundation based in Holland on Tuesdaydonated educational materials to Lida Foundation Nursery School in Niggie Village in Kombo East. The donated items included exercise books, English and Mathematics reading books and pencils, among others.


Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Lamin Sanyang, the headmaster of the school thanked the donors for the gesture, adding that they have done a lot for the school. He commended Antoon Jansen, the donor for building the school and his continuous assistance to the pupils of the school. He appealed to other institutions and the government to come to their aid, as they need more assistance.


Lamin Jarju, the chairman of the school also thanked Antoon Jansen for the donation. He assured Lida Foundation that they will put the donated items into good use. Other speakers included Lamin Kanteh, the project coordinator and Antoon Jansen, the donor who all thanked the villagers for their turnout and promise to work with them for the interest of the community.
