Mamuda water project inauguratedMonday, May 16, 2011 GamMol, a charitable organisation based in Belgium on Wednesday inaugurated a water project in Mamuda Village in Kombo South of the West Coast Region. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Bajutala Saidy, the alkalo of the village, thanked GamMol for the gesture, while describing water as very important to human beings. He urged the community to maintain and take good care of the project. Speaking on behalf of the village women, Arokey Barry noted that the project is timely and thanked GamMol for giving them such an important project. Haruna Kolley, the Village Development Committee chairman thanked President Jammeh for giving NGOs the opportunity to operate in the country and also thanked GamMol for a job well done. Lamin Sambou, the general manager of GamMol, also thanked the community of Mamuda for the support rendered to the project.
