Man, 42, docked for assault

One Babatunda Yusuf, a 42-year old Nigerian, was on Thursday paraded before Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbacke of the Kanifing Magistrates Court for assault.

According to particulars of offense, he, on the 28th of February 2009, at Latri Kunda Sabiji, assaulted one Shedialu Amosum and injured him.  He denied the charges. In the mean time, the court ordered the accused to be granted bail in the sum of D5,000. Corporal 358 Sarr stood in for the IGP.  The case was adjourned to 30th April 2009.
