One Paul Kojo, a 43-year old Ghanaian, was last Monday arraigned before Magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates Court, charged with obtaining money by false presence.

According to the particulars of offence, Paul Kojo, sometimes in the month of June 2009, in Brufut, Kombo North, obtained the sum of D50,000 from one Janet Gomez, on the pretext that he was going to ship 20 bags of dried fish to her in Ghana.

He denied the charge and was granted bail in the sum of D60,000 with one Gambian surety. The case was adjourned to 6th October 2009. Sergeant 1795 represented the IGP.
