Man convicted for forgery

Magistrate Kayodeh of the Brikama Magistrate Court, yesterday convicted one Bubacarr Bah, to a fine of D3000 for forgery or in default to  serve two months in jail. According to the charge sheet,  Bubacarr Bah, in November of  last year, forged his driving license by altering the particulars on the license.

He was also standing trial for stealing 116 liters of fuel belonging to Ambil Fueling Station which he pleaded not guilty Proceeding for the second charge was then adjourned to 16 February 2009. Corporal Kinteh represented the IGP in court.
