The said Morr Kebba Cham according to the statement of offence obtained money by false pretence contrary to Section 288 of the Criminal Code Cap 10 Vol. 111 Laws of The Gambia 1990.

The particulars of offence on count one revealed that on about the 12th May 2004 at Sukuta in Kombo North District, West Coast Region, the convict, with the intention to defraud obtained the sum of D50, 000 on the pretext that he had a plot of land for sale, which representation he falsified, thereby committed an offence.

Whilst on count two, the statement of offence indicated that the convict made false documents contrary to Section 320(a) of the Criminal Code Cap 10 Volume 111, Laws of The Gambia 1990.
