One Omar Touray was on Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate Kayode  Olajubutu of the Bundung Magistrates Court, charged with stealing a motor vehicle, contrary to the laws of The Gambia.

According to the particulars of the offence, on the 24th of December 2009, the accused stole a motor vehicle with the registration No. KM 1510 B at Kotu area, valued at D73, 000, being the property of one Alieu Mbenga. The accused was convicted and sentenced for three years imprisonment with no option of a fine.
