One Momodou Jaiteh, was last Friday, arraigned before Magistrate Lamin George of the Bundung Magistrates Court, charged with careless driving.

According to the particulars of the offence, on the 23rd of June 2009, along the Bertil Harding Highway, the accused drove a vehicle (registration number - BJL 3257F Nissan Van), without due care and attention and thereby caused an accident.  When the charge sheet  was read to him, he pleaded not guilty.  

The magistrate then asked the prosecutor, Sergeant 1042 Kujabi, whether the accused is under police bail. He responded in the affirmative. The case was adjourned to 9th September 2009.
