Inspirational Gambian mbalax star Mass Lowe and his Xam Xam Band were among scores of Gambian starswho performed as part of activities marking World Music Day.

Organised by Alliance Franco Gambienne along Kairaba Avenue, the eventrecalled the past trials and tribulations world music had undergone.Mass Lowe and his Xam Xam Band staged a spectacular performance beyond all expectations during the celebrations.
