Messages for President Jammeh

Africa » Gambia
Wednesday, April 25, 2012

Tamba Dambell and Alhaji Kemba Kassama from Badibou in the North Bank Region, have written separate letters to the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya Jammeh.

The letters read:

The sober minded people of The Gambia have exercised their civil right by voting in November 2011, the President of the Republic through which you happen to win. Allah chooses you and then people voted for you. May the same Allah guide you for the smooth administration of this nation without fear, favour and ill-will. In the same vein, the people of Lower Baddibou have voted more for your chosen candidate-the incumbent than his opponent.

On the other hand, there were other candidates who opposed you which is their civil right in November 2011 Presidential election because of one reason or the others, but yet still they lost to you. I pray to Allah The All-Knowing the reason or others why they have opposed you that He protects us against that which may be negative for the nation. In this context, I remain convince that the country will remain peaceful, secure and prosper by Allah’s guidance.

Please accept, His Excellency, Mr. President of The Gambia and my son in-law, on behalf of Dambell-Kunda family and on my own behalf the assurance of our highest consideration and prayer.

Tamba Dambell

Commonly known as Mr. Tamba

I Alhaji Kassama of Lower Badibou district, have joined APRC Party in the year 1996. I am one of the APRC executive members. Since I joined the party, I have been in favor of the party for so long. I am a friend to his Excellency Professor Dr. Alh Yahya Jammeh. I participates in every party (APRC) issues. And never subdue in the party. And I have been a well-known and respected elder to many state house staffs and members of the party members.

I am a happy famer who have been farming for so long and farm every raining season, I take all of my family to the farm for I believe that with farming we can settle many of our nutritional problems. Gambia government can guarantee me of my farming and my activeness in the party. For it has helped me motivate many members to come and join the APRC party. I also happened to be one of the chief helper in my village by the grace of Allah. I help them a lot in terms of support in there farming and other curricular activities.

I love the president because of his loyalty to the society and the Gambia at large. And also of him being a pan African and also his great gesture to the nation. I am a great supporter to the party and I will never back off in my entire life. My wish for this party is for it to grow as much stronger as ever before. And I am always supporting of the president because he is ready to help the Gambian nation and African at large. I love him today and always behind him. Here I conclude my words. Thank you and god bless you.

Alh. Kemba Kassama
