The president of the Republic, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh continues to receive more congratulatory messages following his landslide victory in the November 24th 2011 Presidential Election.


The latest messages read:

As we instructed to officially write to you, Your Excellency Sheikh Professor Dr. Alh. Yahya AJJ Jammeh by the Honorable Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mamadou Tangara, I wish to join the multitude of Gambians in congratulating you, Your Excellency Sheikh Professor Dr. Alhaji Yahya AJJ Jammeh, President of the Republic of The Gambia for a resounding and a landslide victory in the just recently ended Presidential Election 24th November 2011.


On behalf of my entire family and on my own behalf I sincerely wish to thank you and congratulate you once again for the landslide victory in the Presidential Election which has manifested the confidence and trust that Gambians have in your leadership quality. You have demonstrated this Your Excellency through your love you have for Gambian people at heart and culminated with the numerous infrastructural developments since July 22nd 1994.


I would like to fervently pray for Your Excellency Sheikh Professor Dr. Alhaji Yahya AJJ Jammeh for the Almighty God to continue showering His abundant blessings upon you so as to empower you with good health of body and mind to enable you continue to rule our dear mother land The Gambia in peace, progress and prosperity so that sooner or later together we will all realize the actualization of the vision 2020 for a better Gambia. It is also my prayer that the Almighty Allah to continue to help the APRC party to live with us forever and for you Your Excellency to continue to rule The Gambia for life. Amen.
