Muammar El-Ghadafi, others Congratulate President JammehThursday, June 04, 2009 The Libyan head of state, His Excellency Muammar El-Ghadafi, leader of the September Revolution, has sent a message to the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, congratulating him on the occasion of his birthday, celebrated on May 25. Ghadafi's message, as received from the Office of the President at State in Banjul, reads: On the occasion of the commemoration of your happy birthday, it pleases me personally and on behalf of the Libyan Arab People of the Great Jamahiriya to extend my heartfelt congratulation and best wishes. I wish you and the sisterly Gambian people continuous health, happiness and increased advancement and prosperity. Muammar El-Ghadafi In a separate dispatch received from State House, writing from Caracas, The Gambia's ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hon. Bala Garba-Jahumpa also extended birthday wishes to the Gambian head of state. His message reads: As a dynamic leader who has always demonstrated to a vigilant world that the welfare of his people is his top priority as evidenced by Your Excellency's unmatched achievements in key sectors such as education, health and agriculture, we can only pray for the Almighty Allah for your continued protection, and health in your crusade to rank The Gambia as the best in the world. Happy birthday and may Your Excellency live to celebrate many more. Bala Garba-Jahumpa Her message reads: This manifested the trust, confidence and appreciation you and your government has in me as an entrepreneur and role model for all women in business.
