Nasir SSS holds inter-house

Nasir Ahmadiyyaa Senior Secondary School in the Upper River Region last Saturday held its annual inter-house athletics competition at the school playing ground in Basse Mansajang.


Attended by thousands of spectators, including students, teachers, ex-students and locals from the surrounding places, the event saw Blue Kunda taking first position with 496 points, Red Kunda came second position with 460 points, Yellow Kundathird with 418 points, while Green Kunda came last with 386 points.


Announcing the results, Mamadi Ceesay, principal of the school commendedthe athletes for their good performance. He also hailed the school’s sports committee for the good organization of the event. He said the inter-house was competitive, while hoping that the school will provide good results in the inter-senior school heats. He further thanked all those who in one way or the other contributed in making the event successful. He finally congratulated Blue Kunda for emerging victorious.
