Banjul Gloucester United will be hoping for Group B top spot when they take on bottom side All Stars FC today in  on-going Banjul nawettan league season.

The side Gloucester, who secured three wins in four group matches, currently lie at third place with nine points - only a point adrift of joint leaders Dortmund and Warriors. A win against the All Stars will see Gloucester leapfrog the duo to the top spot with only two group matches to go. Matches will continue on Thursday with Group B strugglers, Hagan United, locking horns with the third-placed Makaan-Bi FC. A win for Makaan-Bi FC will see them level on points with Digi Dambi at the summit of Group B table.

On Thursday, Dortmund will face Skunkfica at the KG5 mini-stadium, while Warriors take on Jamsen on the same day at the Gambia Senior Secondary School ground. Matches continue on Sunday with Fire House taking on Marcus FC at the Gambia High ground, while Plumbi United battle it out with Gloucester at the KG5.

Meanwhile, the Banjul Sports Committee, in honour of the Holy month of Ramadan will allow teams to make a maximum of seven changes in a game. Also players with one or two yellow cards will have the cards wiped out for the second round matches. However, players serving suspension will not be pardoned. The committee will also allow registered players who have not played in the first round to change teams if they are deregistered by their original teams.

Brikama Amasa FC fought back from two goals down to settle for 2-2 against Berewuleng in the on-going Brikama nawettan season on Friday.   It was Berewuleng who got off to a bright start taking the lead in the 36th minute through Ousman Jallow's strike. And Lamin Jaiteh's 57th striker looked set to seal the tie in Berewuleng's favour. But Amasa replied with two quick goals to seal the tie at 2-2.
