NDEA top brass dismissedMonday, March 08, 2010 Ibrahim Bun Sanneh, the executive director of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA) along with his deputy director Karamo Bojang and Ousman Sanneh, commissioner of Operation have been dismissed from the agency with effect from Friday, 5th March, 2010, according to a release from the presidency.
The release reads: The Office of the President hereby informs the general public that Mr Ibrahim Bun Sanneh, executive director of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA), Mr Karamo Bojang, deputy director NDEA, and Mr. Ousman Sanneh, commissioner of Operations NDEA are dismissed from the agency with effect from Friday, 5th March 2010. TSU transferred to the Interior ministry In another executive decision, the Tactical Support Unit (TSU) responsible for security of the Tourism Development Area (TDA) is no longer under the purview of the Republican National Guards but under the Ministry of the Interior.
