A new gaurd room for the Police Intervention Unit (PIU)  was recently inaugurated at a ceremony held in Kerr Biran village  in Illiasa  District of the   North Bank Region (NBR).

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Alhaji Abu Njie, the deputy governor of  NBR, said that the construction of a guard room for the PIU by the people of the region is a  show of solidarity  to the good work the PIU has been providing for the area. He therefore assured the community  of goverment’s resolve in the maintenance of peace and stability.

Kebba Bojang, the police commissioner for North Bank Region, thanked the people of Kerr Biran and its cluster villages for their immense support to the security forces.
