Njau Ward councillor thanks President Jammeh

Amie Channeh Ceesay, the councillor for Njau Ward in the Upper Saloum, CRR North has thanked the Gambian leaderm His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh for empowering Gambian women.

She also expressed gratitude to President Jammeh for the various developments taking place in the country over the years. Amie Ceesay made this remarks recently during an interview with this reporter in Janjangbureh.

She hailed the establishment of the Women Federation as vital saying it will provide an institutional structure for the management of women groups from village to national level. She on behalf of the women of the area assured President Jammeh of their continued support and loyalty.

She also used the opportunity to felicitate the Gambian leader on the Gambia's 45th Independence Anniversary and prayed to Allah the Almighty to shower his everlasting blessings on him, his family and the entire Gambian people.
