Nu Chilly’s debut album due in market soon![]() Friday, December 16, 2011 The much anticipated debut album of Nu Chilly, a rising Gambian UK based reggae artist is expected to land in the market if reports reaching What’s On is anything to go by. The 17 track album entitled ‘By the Rivers of Gambia’, was recorded at various renowned studious around the world including the world famous -Sundland Music Records under the watchful eyes of Hakim. With a motto ‘Dance Your Yard before You Dance Abroad’, Nu Chilly debut masterpiece is expected in the market in early January 2012 and is dedicating to The Smiling Coast of Africa-The Gambia. It basically preached about righteousness and consciousness and teach the people especially the youths education and godless and positive words that will benefit the young and the old. Born Wally Bobb and widely known by his music sobriquet Nu Chilly, in the recent years has been working in all fronts to push his music to the next level. What makes this forthcoming album so special is that it features one of Jamaica’s rising sensation -Chuck Fenda in tune called ‘Nu Chilly Rise’, among others. Over the years, the Gambian star has been busy in studios as well as staging mega concerts around Europe especially in the United Kingdom. Besides, a lots more surprises like new music videos on the Gambian national TV. In a recent interview with What’s On, Nu Chilly revealed that the album carries positive messages and event he has pass through his life stressing he is committed to educate the minds of the young and old. “So this album is and inspirational and must go for masterpiece. What this album special is about the positive words I carry. The album will be release at the beginning of January and that he and his team are working on the date,”he said. The rising star who toured Europe extensively in places such as Holland, Germany, Austria this year is optimistic that the forthcoming masterpiece will make waves in the country. “I want to patronize this album to my native land The Gambia. It is better to dance your yard before you dance abroad. I want to extend to greeting to all fans I can’t wait to meet them. I am happy to be back,” he said. Some of the new hits tunes in the album according to him includes, Keep the Faith’, which is currently blazing the Europe,’ Show Some love’ Black and Beautiful’, ‘Better Will Come one Day’, ‘Love is What the Children Want’, as well as ‘My People Are Crying for Love’ maintain that every single tune in the album is a hit one. For his part, Chris Black, the chief executive officer of GMB Promotions, a music promotion Label currently working wit various Gambian artists, explanied that his firm is a small but developing committed to work with gambia artist. “ We have nuff gambian artist currently making names in the world music . My promotion is here to work with all talented stars and if you know that you are talented and ready to work with us,” he said. Njie B the Conqueror another formidable Gambian artist said he started working with Nu Chilly since way back and that he is committed to contrubute his quota towards the development of the country’s music scene. Njie-B as fondly didn’t hasistate to revealed that he’s currently working hard for the final release of his forthocoming album which will register another sucesss like his previous one.
