Nuhna Ansarulah donates to Sheikh Tihami Clinic

Nuhna Ansarulah Professional Foundation on Saturday presented medical drugs worth D25, 000, three bags of rice and Qcell Data Card to Sheikh Tihami Clinic and Islamic School at a presentation ceremony held at its campus in Kungkujang Keitaya Village in Kombo North.

The mission of the foundation is to contribute to knowledge management for the spiritual, intellectual, social and economic empowerment of mankind as envisaged by Mawlana Sehikh Ibrahim Niasse. Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Baboucarr Cham, the social secretary of the foundation, said that it is the aim of the foundation to make learning as well as health priorities in the society as most of the medicines being donated are anti-malaria drugs. The rice, he added, is for the school children to have something to eat and the Qcell Data Card is for the clinic to have access to information from the internet.

Dr. Ebrima Samba, the honouring member of the foundation, said that they are impressed with the services the clinic and school are providing to the community. According to him, the foundation is dedicated to the welfare of the community. For her part, Fatou Gaye Nyang, the head of the clinic, thanked the foundation for the gesture. She revealed that the clinic receives patients from many villages in the region and that since its inception 40 women delivered in the clinic. According to her any money gained from the clinic is invested in the school.Tijan Nyang, a teacher at the school, also thanked the foundation for the gesture.
