Briefing the parents about this new development in the school, the principal of Nusrat Senior Secondary School, Karamo Bojang thanked both the parents/guardians and students for choosing Nusrat Senior Secondary School to do their three year secondary education.
“You did not make any mistake of allowing your child to choose Nusrat Senior Secondary School and don’t feel bad about that decision you took because my school will always live up to the expectation of both the parents/guardians and the students,” Principal Bojang told parents.
He disclosed that the online registration system was developed by the former Students of Nusrat Senior secondary school currently at the UTG. Bojang added that it took the students six months to develop this online system. He said though new, the online registration system is well secured and will be sustained to the best interest of both parents and their children.
Principal Bojang commended his ex-students for what he called a brilliant job in developing Nusrat Senior Secondary School’s online registration system. ‘We want to do away with the traditional way of registering students into grade (10), this is why we introduced this new initiative of registering grade 10 students through online procedures designed to relief parents of the burden of spending the whole day at school just to secure a place for their children,” Bojang stated.
He took the opportunity to commend both Ahmadiyya Jamaa’t in The Gambia for sponsoring Nusrat Senior Secondary School Library at a tune of D1.8 million and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) for their continued support to his institution. Power point presentation on how to fill the online registration form was held followed by question and answer session by parents.
