Oceanic Bank Condaneh campaign proves a success

According to information reaching Business and Finance, the Condaneh campaign launched by Oceanic Bank, last year, has proven to be a great success. The innovative idea, which combines our ancient traditional practices with today's modern banking principles was launched by the bank to much acclaim.

The idea is very simple. The bank distributes boxes, locally called "Condanehs", into which clients put money a little at a time. This is something that has been happening in our part of the world since time immemorial. The difference is that the money that you put into Oceanic Bank's Condaneh is later collected by bank officials and deposited into your account. Thus, you can conduct banking transactions in the convenience of your home or workplace.

Feedback from various sources has revealed that many people have latched onto this concept as it is something they can identify with and also because its convenience. Many are in fact look out for the next product that the Oceanic Bank Gambia team, headed by MD Olumuyiwa Eleazar Ogunmilade.
