The president of the Republic in exercise of his prerogative of mercy has decided to pardon Ousman Jammeh, former secretary general, Office of the President and Karafa Sanneh, former manager of Kanilai Family Farms (Siffoe) for the crimes they have committed, and were convicted for.

A media release from the State House last night revealed that Jammeh and Sanneh will be released from prison immediately.
