Police prosecutor seeks adjournment in stolen gold caseThursday, August 13, 2009 The police prosecutor 319 Jobe, made an adjournment application in a gold trial involving one Abdoulie Touray as the case resumes at the Kanifing Magistrate on Wednesday. When the case was called before Magistrate B O Jobe, prosecutor 319 Jobe told the court that he wished to adjourned the case on the grounds that the accused aunt has past away and that he could not come to the court on Wednesday. Abdoulie Touray is facing charges of stealing to which he vehemently denied. According to the prosecution, he was said to have stole two sets of gold, one set of silver and three rings from one Isatou Janneh in Latrikunda German during the months of July 2009.
