Pranic healing training held

Africa » Gambia
Tuesday, June 23, 2009
The West Africa Pranic Healing Foundation, over the weekend, embarked on a two-day training on pranic (energy) healing at its head office in Pipeline.

Pranic Healing Foundation, is a charitable organisation on ancient science and art of healing. Srikanth Jois, pranic healing trainer for The Gambia said, this is not the first time they are conducting such a training in The Gambia.  According to him, The Gambia has a lot of traditional practices which with the help of pranic healing, can be improved. He said it  is part of their 2009 plans to conduct a sensitisation on super braining technique (monkey dance) in schools to help students improve academically.

According to Jois, any one over 16 years of age can learn pranic healing. He said that super braining teaching locally called "monkey dance", is being practiced in most parts of Asia and Africa, adding that recently, a medical research was conducted in some pilot study and the EEG report revealed that it helps for better memory and concentration for students.

In his conclusion, he said, pranic healing is simple but a very powerful technique in case of emergency, instead of panicking or being helpless.
