She also urged African leaders to emulate President Jammeh in his good leadership qualities in their struggle to attain good governance in Africa. "I am from The Gambia and I can tell you we are the Smiling Coast of Africa. Every country in Africa should send their leaders just for three hours to get a true lecture from my President Yahya Jammeh on how a good leader should be. My president is one man that every African or friends of Africa should try to know and emulate due to his leadership qualities," she declared. "My president [President Yahya Jammeh] is celebrating 16 years of power this July and I can tell you we have seen positive changes in The Gambia. You are all invited to come to The Gambia and celebrate with us; you can all make The Gambia your second home and choose to invest there. In The Gambia everyone is a Gambian as long as you live in peace and observe the rule of law, you are like any other citizen," Jabbie told the Africa Business Forum. Africa, she pointed out, is a beautiful continent that everyone should be proud of. "It is time for us to stand and say we will not allow our continent to be destroyed by those who think they can brainwash us to take what is rightfully ours," she asserted. She continued: "We all have a part to play in our mission to see the greatness of Africa, it is time for us as the shakers and movers of Africa to start naming and shaming those leaders who are ruling us for their own selfish need, not ours, we have the internet, the media and the youths to help us in our struggle to get better governance for all Africa, when we all become united we will live better life in Africa, we don't have to worry about winter, autumn, spring or summer. In Africa we know how our day today will be, even without someone telling us. "The African media should now move from this Western way of reporting our news and focus on promoting the good image of our continent. They should also give wider coverage of development sectors such as good roads; basic human needs; infrastructure; education; health; agriculture; tourism as well as peace and stability. Let us sing our own praises as I am doing now but we should only do it, we should make sure that what we are saying is the truth. I can stand in front of you all now and say my president and my country is the best in Africa and it is the truth. I can also say there are some countries in Africa that I will never go to because it is not fit for human beings to live and that also is the truth." Fatima urged all Africans to come together and promote their countries as well as support their governments in the struggle to attain good governance in the continent."Let us use face Book, U Tube, Twitters, Yahoo Messengers, Google, My Space as I have done to help in the campaign of my president, you can see it on most of the sites; please copy and paste it on your site.
