This gesture, symbolisms one of the inherent social and spiritual characteristics of your leadership and clearly demonstrates the value of caring and sharing which you so much preach, being developed into a cultural fabric of our beloved country, the Gambia.

Through my office, patriotic citizens and loyal supporters of the ruling APRC in different age and social categories, including but not limited to politicians from among the integral wings of the APRC, the elderly, young, men and women and more importantly the “Kailas” from traditional “Marabout Houses” across the region, have expressed their desire through this letter for their voice to be heard in this regard.

Based on our strong Islamic belief that good should be paid for good, otherwise it must be praised, appreciated and thanked, together we shall remain in solidarity with you forever and thank and pray for Allah’s divine protection, long live, good health, prosperity and timely realization of your aspirations as well as those of your family, sooner than expected.

May Allah shower his blessing on the Gambia and grant you the required fortitude and all that it takes, to lead the development of this country to the altitude of your desire. “Ramadan Mubarak”
