The judgment for one Abdou Joof who admitted raping an 11-year-old abnormal girl in Nemakunku, was yesterday adjourned to February 23 by Principal Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrate Court.

The reason for the adjournment was for the medical experts to confirm whether the girl was pregnant after she was raped. Legal expert said in such cases any body found guilty, the punishment can stretch to life imprisonment.
