Editor,

With reference to the last letter sent in by one of your contributors, I write to add my voice onto it. You could not have presented your ideas any better that that.. All the issues you raised definitely need to be dealt with in other to make the avenue a very lucrative business centre.

As it stands, the avenue is one of Gambia's favorite shopping spots and we do take pride of it. On top of all the points stated, I do strongly feel that the path for pedestrians on both sides of the road should be paved to get rid of the dust which is a health risk and also reduce the muck on the buildings.

Kairaba Avenue is an area of pride for Gambians so I think that the authorities should do more to beautify it because it is not only a shopping centre but also an area where families go to socialize as well.
