Re- who is the journalist?

africa » gambia
Monday, December 29, 2008
On our last edition of Tuesday, 23 December 2008, we published on our editorial column an article captioned, as above.

It so happened that a particular public figure had just made a remark somewhere on the same subject that that very article was out to discuss.

I want to reiterate that the Daily Observer, in line with the editorial policy of this paper, has no interest in dealing with issues by making personal attack against any individual, not under the management of the current dispensation, as that article seemed to have appealed to some people.

I take this opportunity to distance that column from any misconstrued perception whatsoever.

Thank you for you understanding.
