SCB regional company secretary due here todayMonday, March 01, 2010 Sarah Williams, Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) regional company secretary "West, responsible for subsidiary governance in the West region will arrive in Banjul today March 1st 2010 for an official visit to the Bank's franchise in The Gambia.
During her visit, Sarah Williams will hold strategic meetings with key external stakeholders, the bank's management, and legal and company secretariat staff. In Sarah's role in Group Corporate Secretariat, she works with the Subsidiary Governance team who work with the governance teams and subsidiary company secretaries to ensure exemplary standards of corporate governance are in place across the Group and that a scalable, sustainable model is in place to develop and deliver best practice. Sarah has been with Standard Chartered Bank since 2003 and has been an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) since 2006. Previous roles have included project management, Business Support and Board & Committee Support roles in GCS and a secondment during 2008 as interim Company Secretary of SCB (Taiwan).
