SESDO gives certificates of appreciation to Global properties and Banjul BreweriesFriday, April 20, 2012 The Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Wednesday paid a courtesy call on Global Properties and Banjul Breweries and used the opportunity to present certificates of appreciation to both companies for the support they have been rendering to them over the past years. Jerreh Jatta, the Business Development Manager of Global Properties expressed delight at receiving the delegation and saidthey are grateful for the certificate since it signifies appreciation of what has been done. He urged the Committee to maintain peace and unity among the youths. “We will not take for granted anything that has to do with youth development especially when it comes to sport and I hope that it will continue as far as we are strong,” he remarked. The first vice president of SESDO, Saihou Bah commended the companies on behalf of his president, Mustapha Kebbeh. He said the two companies have been of great help to them financially andmorally. According to him, they deemed it necessary to present the certificates of appreciation just to show how much grateful they are while hoping that the help continues. The Finance Manager of Banjul Breweries, Fatou Siyan Mergan, said that it is a crucial role of the company to render support to the youths especially sports which she described as a tool that brings people together. “When you talk about sports, what comes to your mind is young people and spending in sports will prevent them from engaging in negative vices,” she said while assuring them of the company’s continuous support as far as youth development is concerned. She finally thanked them on behalf of the management and staff of the company. Borry Darboe, the Country Sales Manager of Banjul Breweries thanked SESDO for the certificate. He said the company is there for the whole country and for development in all aspects. He commended the organisation for maintaining transparency with the company and assured that their doors are open for them anytime.
