Shyben A. Madi and Sons, one of the leading companies in Information Technology (IT) and educational items in the country, on Saturday, 13th February 2010, held a day-long exhibition of some of the latest Riso products at the Kairaba Beach Hotel in Kololi.

The products on display included high speed printing machines of various sizes and capacities, which can print 150 pages in a minute and up to millions in an hour or so. The printers have multiple colours and easy to use compared to the old fashion machines. The exhibition brought together school teachers, the media and officials of the Shyben A.Madi and Sons Ltd as well as the general public, who were taken on a conducted tour and  explanation about the use and capacity of each of the machines on display by Jason Rose, the Export manager for Riso Africa.

He gave a detailed explanation to the audience about the products made in Japan. According to him, the products can print different sizes of papers with multiple colours and speed. “The products are environmentally friendly. You can connect the printer to your PC or network. The high speed is 150 pages per minute and the printing gets you job done fast and get the impact of two colour printing in a single, convenient pass. Riso products are second to  none”, he told the audience.

Pa Louis Gomez, the Sales and Marketing manager of Shyben A.Madi and Sons Ltd, welcomed the audience to the exhibition and urged them to explore what is in store for them in the world of IT and electronics. Ousainou Jatta, the Sales representative was at hand to address concerns of people wanting to purchase the products.
