SingAteh set to release ‘Mansa Kay’![]() Friday, May 18, 2012 The much anticipated ‘Mansa Kay’ album of one of Gambia’s reggae dancehall heartthrob-SingAteh, will be launched on the 25th May 2012 – coinciding with the President’s birthday and the African Liberation Day Celebrations, at the SunSwing Hotel (former Jerma Beach Hotel). Superbly
engineered at world class studious, the highly anticipated album includes 12
brilliant songs touching on different topics of both local and international
paradigm. In essence, the album pays homage to the leadership of our
motherland, advocates greater support for women and youths as well as extols
different stories of love and unity. To be backed by live band courtesy of Holy Family Band, the event will also witness spectacular acts by lineup of Gambian artist namely –T Smallz, Gee, Lamin Saho, Jali Kebba , Jali Madi, Baddibunka, Mandingmorry, and Enc among a host of others. “This is
going to be an explosive moment to link up with both the artists, my fans and
lovers of homemade music”, said SingAteh during an interview with What’s On. The reggae dancehall singjay went further to express gratitude to artists such
as Jalex, Benjahmin, Balla Ranks, Jali Neneh Suso, Cess and Rugie who were
captured in the album. With three successful albums, Singateh is a rising sensation who has travelled far and wide meeting producers and doing shows.
